This licensed Dan Dare cap badge is made from 24 carat gold plated zinc alloy with red and black enamel. It has a diameter of 45mm and a maximum thickness of 4mm, not including the brooch pin. The photo above shows the badge alongside a painted recast of one of the original metal cap badges. To the right is a photo of an original Horlicks Spaceman's Club badge manufactured in England by EVB Plastics Ltd.
